الفارق بين الحديث المباشر والغير مباشر
Direct speech records exactly what a person has said.
الحديث المباشر يسجل ما قد قيل تماما
Newspapers often use direct speech to quote the exact words used by somebody.
الصحف والمجلات غالبا ما تستخدم الحديث المباشر لاقتباس نفس الكلمات المستخدمة من قبل شخص ما .
This becomes very important when recording a speech or an address by a public figure.
وهذا يصبح على درجة عالية من الاهمية عند تسجيل حديث او خطاب لشخصية اجتماعية معروفة .
When direct speech is used in this way the authority or knowledge of the person being quoted is thus acknowledged.
عندما يستخدم الحديث المباشر بهذه الطريقة فان سلطة وعلم الشخص المقبس منه او المروي عنه هكذا تكون محفوظة و معترفا بها .
Direct speech also makes emotional statements very powerful.
وايضا فان الخطاب المباشر يجعل التصريحات العاطفية قوية جدا
When we read the exact words spoken it is easier for us to put ourselves in the person's situation and to see what is happening to them from their viewpoint.
عندما نقراء الكلمات الاصلية المقالة فانه من السهل علينا ان نضع انفسنا مكان الشخص الذي قالها ونفهم حالته ونرى ماذا حصل له من وجهة نظره .

indirect speech
الحديث الغير مباشر
Reporting what somebody has said, but not their exact words, is an example of indirect speech.
ان اخبار ما قاله شخص ما ولكن ليس عبر نقل كلماته الاصلية كما وردت هو عبارة عن مثال للحديث الغير مباشر
Try to think about why a journalist for example might not quote a person's exact words.
حاول ان تفكر حول السبب الذي يجعل الصفيين مثلا لا ينقلون الكلمات الحرفية التي قيلت من قبل شخص ما
Writers can use this method to summarise what a person has said or to give a sense of the person's words without quoting them in their entirety.
الكتبة يستطيعون استخدام هذا الاسلوب لتلخيص ما قاله شخص ما . او لاعطاء معنى لكلمات الشخص دون اقتباسها بشكل مجمل او كلي
